GP Patient Survey Results

The latest national GP patient survey results have been published as of July 2024. These results reflect the questionnaires sent out in January 2023.

The GP patient survey is sent out to randomly selected patients from the practice register. It asks questions about your overall experience of the practice, the professionals you see and your last appointment.

We are very pleased to report that all of our PCN practices score higher than national and Sussex-wide averages in the majority of domains, achieving some of the highest positive feedback in the country.

We have compared a few of the key questions from the survey:

90% of patients, on average for the PCN, would describe their overall experience of their GP practice as good. The national average is 74% and the Sussex average is 75%.

76% of patients, on average for the PCN, find it easy to get through to their GP practice on the phone. The national average is 50% and the Sussex average is 48%.

92% of patients, on average for the PCN, find the reception and administration teams at their GP practices as helpful. The national average is 83% and the Sussex average is 85%.

60% of patients, on average for the PCN, usually get to see their preferred healthcare professional when they would like to. The national average is 40% and the Sussex average is 41%.

Individual practice results can be found through the GP patient survey website.

Rural Rother PCN extends our gratitude to our patients for sharing their positive feedback and to the hardworking teams in our practices.
